Bridget Bohannon

Bridget is a community organizer, health justice advocate, and program director. She is passionate about abortion access and more broadly health justice for populations and communities excluded from and/or actively harmed by the health care system. Bridget received her BA in Sociology from Villanova University and her Master’s in Public Health, focusing on policy and administration, from UCLA.

Since January 2022, Bridget serves as the director of the Master of Arts in Health Advocacy Program at Sarah Lawrence College. In this role, she is working to reimagine and relaunch graduate-level education in health advocacy through building partnerships with organizations within and external to the formal health care system. Prior to this role, Bridget spent 15 years leading programs for an international non-profit organizing and training medical students in abortion-inclusive reproductive health. Bridget lives outside of NYC with her cat.
