Sarah Dietrich (she/her) is a board certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner, trained to provide mental health services to patients in a variety of settings. She currently works at an outpatient community mental health center in an underserved, rural area of Tennessee, and at a local inpatient psychiatric hospital in Memphis. Prior to her work as a nurse practitioner, Sarah worked as an RN at CHOICES, a reproductive health clinic in Memphis, and she worked with acutely ill psychiatric patients at an inpatient facility. Sarah’s passion for reproductive health and rights began as a teenager after seeing a local production of the Vagina Monologues. She started the annual Vagina Monologues V-Day production at her undergraduate university, helping raise money for domestic violence shelters affected by Hurricane Katrina on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. She has also been a patient advocate at CHOICES, supporting women during their first trimester abortions. Sarah holds a B.A. in Psychology from Mississippi University for Women, a BSN from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and received her master’s degree from Vanderbilt University.
