Shauna Smith – Executive Assistant & Board Liaison

Shauna Smith provides administrative and strategic support to the Executive Director and Senior Director of Programs, and functions as the primary contact for the Board of Directors. She also provides strategic management of Provide’s Continuing Education Unit/Continuing Medical Education (CEU/CME) process. Shauna earned an A.A.S in Criminal Justice from Ivy Tech Community College and later completed her B.S. in Criminology at Indiana University in Indianapolis, Indiana. She developed a passion for humanitarian work and helping others while doing missions work in the Dominican Republic. She dedicates her time and energy to working with families at risk of removal of children, providing community resources to families with children who have disabilities, and taking advantage of volunteer opportunities at local women’s shelters in Indiana. Shauna currently lives with her husband and twin daughters in Indiana. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, attending concerts, kayaking the rivers, traveling to the Caribbean islands, and loving on her dog, Renegade.
