Tara Johnson (they/she) designs and delivers dynamic in-person and virtual trainings that incorporate anti-racism and anti-oppression concepts, frameworks, and tools to a variety of diverse audiences.

 

Tara has been a professional sexuality educator and trainer since 2015. They began their career as a middle school English teacher in rural Alabama before shifting their focus to human sexuality for their graduate studies. Tara has developed training and curricula on human sexuality topics for Planned Parenthood of Delaware, Washington State University, Widener University, and The Transgender Training Institute. She has a passion for working with human service professionals to provide judgment-free, inclusive, and comprehensive care and education to those they serve. Tara holds a B.S. of English Education from Auburn University and an M.Ed. in Human Sexuality Education from Widener University.
