Self-Paced Coures
All-Options: Pregnancy Counseling, Education, and Referrals
Through interactive modules based on common patient/client scenarios, you will learn how to support people making pregnancy decisions with informed and stigma-free counseling, education, and referrals. The estimated time to complete is 2.5 hours, but you can work at your own pace. Participants who participate in this training before September 30, 2025 can enter a drawing for the chance to win a $100 gift card!

Course Objectives
By the end of these self-paced lessons, you will:
- List and describe a client’s pregnancy options including abortion
- Name at least three values that are important to your work with clients
- Describe at least one reason why education and referrals are essential to quality care
- List and describe the four components of the STAR model for effective education and referrals
- Build a mini resource guide to support abortion referrals and education at your organization
Who is this training for?
This training is open to any healthcare worker, social service provider, community health worker, or support professional who would like to learn more about pregnancy options and support patients/clients around pregnancy decisions.
Continuing Education
This training is eligible for free CEs for nursing professionals. Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #CEP17370, for 3 contact hours.
