Provide offers free technical assistance (TA) to help health and social service organizations compassionately and proactively respond to your community’s needs around abortion care and other stigmatized services.
How We Work
Our collaborative approach begins with an in-depth consultation and site assessment to understand your organization’s strengths, needs, and challenges. We then develop a tailored TA service overview that outlines how we can support your organization in implementing policies, processes, and practices that promote stigma-free access to abortion and other stigmatized health services as an integral part of your standards of care and your organizational culture.
We customize our assistance to meet the needs of your organization! Our support can include:
- Resources, tools, & guidance on providing affirming, stigma-free education and referrals for abortion and other stigmatized healthcare
- Structural interventions to support the development of a culture of shared values and behaviors around bodily autonomy, centering people with lived experience, and destigmatizing sexual and reproductive health
- Training plans to increase staff capacity to provide culturally affirming care to populations disproportionately impacted by unintended pregnancy and other sexual health disparities
- Connection to partner organizations to enhance community collaboration, share learning, and facilitate cross-system education and referrals
